                 MISSION STATEMENT

St. Matthew Baptist Church exists to be God's agent of reconciliation. We all do this through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We welcome all who desire to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is our task to help all believers who have the zeal to serve God, grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

 We encourage and promote corporate Worship. We strive to reach those who are unsaved through our Evangelical Ministry. Our Ministry of Christian Education seeks to win souls for Christ, to nurture and develop programs and ministries for believers of all age groups. through Missions, we seek to win souls as we reach out to those who are in need. Finally, through Fellowship we seek opportunities to provide a warm atmosphere where each member can develop a deep personal faith as we encourage and support each other in our spiritual and social ministries and activities.
